Greetings from Triad Elementary School!
I hope this note finds you enjoying these unseasonably warm temperatures! As I write this note, I can hear our students outside enjoying recess, a treat they have not had for quite some time!
We are so excited to welcome Diane Stemper, an artist/teacher from Oxford, Ohio, who will be teaching art to our elementary students for the remainder of the 2015-2016 school year. Mrs. Stemper has had numerous experiences teaching children of all ages, but her favorite grade levels are, of course, kindergarten through fourth grade! Mrs. Stemper will be on site each Monday and Tuesday. During the current nine weeks, Mrs. Stemper will hold classes for our preschool through second grade students. Third and fourth graders will have art during the last (fourth) nine weeks. We have the benefit of Mrs. Stemper through a grant received from the Ohio Arts Council, a grant which focused on placing art teachers into rural schools. If you are in the building on a Monday or a Tuesday, please welcome Mrs. Stemper and introduce yourself to her. I know she would love to meet you!
Parents, please don't forget to 'catch up' on any overdue fees or fines! Our Valentine's Day parties are quickly approaching, and two-thirds of the amount due is needed to ensure your child's participation in the fun activities of the day. If you have any questions regarding this new policy, please do not hesitate to call the elementary office at (937) 826-3102. Mrs. Packman and I will be happy to assist you!
