Where we will share information about the current state of our schools, district goals, future plans, and challenges. The meeting will last approximately one hour with time for questions at the end.

The State Board of Education announced this week that Triad Local Schools and Triad Middle School earned a 2017 Momentum Award.

Two Triad teachers have been selected to attend competitive teacher workshops over the summer to deepen their understanding of American history and culture.
The Transportation Department is in the process of implementing a new communication tool, the Remind system.
This summer, Triad schools will install new teaching tools of a 65” Interactive Display and Document Camera in the remaining classrooms in the district.

Our board members take their responsibility to the Triad District seriously. Each one has or has had students attend this district and their committment to Triad is seen in the countless hours they spend promoting, supporting and recognizing the students and staff of the district as well as the time they put in to approve policies, contracts and budgets that work for the benefit of Triad School District. Each one plays an active role in leading the way for education and we encourage the Triad communities to show their support for these special individuals during the month of January.

Triad Middle School students enjoyed fun Pi-themed activities in celebration of Pi Day on March 14.
Triad Local Schools and Memorial Sports Medicine are teaming up to keep athletes safe and healthy with the addition of Brittany Urbania as our new full time athletic trainer on site.
Art education took center stage at Triad Elementary during the month of March, with fun educational field trips and an Arts Night for students and families.
Triad High School and Middle School implemented the Triad Opportunity School at the beginning of the 2015-16 school year. Triad Opportunity School offers students flexibility and options via the use of an online learning classroom provided by Fuel Education.
Our child nutrition department is working with suppliers to ensure that Triad schools will be in compliance with new sodium-reduction requirements for the 2017-18 school year.
Triad Elementary families are invited to spend a Night with the Arts on March 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. The evening will include music performances and art on display!
Diane Stemper, Artist-in-Residence, TeachArtOhio, Ohio Arts Council, meets once a week with 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classes.
FFA students at Triad High School hosted a successful blood drive for the Community Blood Centers for Champaign and surrounding counties on March 27.
At Triad Middle School, eighth grade students participated in Real Money, Real World to learn about budgeting and finances.

In February, Triad Middle School participated in Start with Hello Week. School Counselor Jessica Gronas led the initiative, a national endeavor organized by the Sandy Hook Promise, a nonprofit organization led by several family members who lost loved ones at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December 14, 2012.
Triad students show their support to WL-S District by wearing orange on Monday, January 23rd.
This was a district-wide initiative to send the thoughts, prayers and well wishes of Triad staff and students to their neighboring district of West Liberty-Salem.
