TRIAD SCHOOL K-8 SUPPLY LIST FOR 2017-2018

KINDERGARTEN

PLEASE DO NOT LABEL THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

Scissors (Mrs. M's Class only)

Two plastic folders with brads - girls 1 red and boys 1 blue

Two packages of Crayola washable markers (8 count - Classic Colors)

Four boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count)

Ten (regular size) glue sticks

Two pack of fat primary pencils

Two boxes tissues

Two or more containers of Clorox wipes

One roll of paper towels

Two Mead Composition Journals

One box of Ziploc bags (gallon size) (Mrs. Watson's & Mrs. Yoder's classes only)

THESE ARE THE ONLY ITEMS TO BE LABELED:

Large book bag

Clean gym shoes to stay at school for gym class

(Your child must be able to put on and fasten their own shoes - both gym shoes and regular shoes)

Lunch money in a well-marked envelope with student name & student id #

A full change of clothes in a labeled one gallon Ziploc bag (underwear, long sleeved shirt and pants).

 

1st GRADE

3 - boxes of 24 crayons

2 - large bottles of Elmer's glue

1 - pair of metal scissors (sharp and pointed)

1 - package of Ticonderoga brand pencils (regular sized)

2 - containers of Clorox wipes

1 - roll of paper towels

2 - boxes of tissues

1 - box Crayola Markers

4 - large pink block erasers

1 - clean pair of tennis shoes labeled w/name to leave at school for gym class

4 - 1 subject, wide-ruled spiral notebook (plain, inexpensive ones)

1 - standard size plastic school box - no large boxes

3- PLASTIC three-pronged pocket folders (1 green, 1 red & 1 blue) (NOT paper folders) (do not label these)

4 - black dry erase markers

Girls bring sandwich-size Ziplock bags

Boys bring gallon-size Ziplock bags

3 Black or blue ink pens

* Some of these items may need to be replaced throughout the

school year. You may want to buy extras to have on hand.

2nd GRADE

Please label all items with your child's name

3 hole-punched folders with pockets for the different subject areas:

yellow - labeled "social studies", blue -labeled "math" and red - labeled "reading/language arts"

1 additional folder of your choice for your homework folder

8 (12 ct.) packages of #2 pencils (NO GEL PENS OR INK PENS)

Backpacks will not be permitted in the classrooms. They will

Triad Middle School Supply Lists

5th Grade

In a three-ring binder (or Trapper Keeper) to keep paper and folders organized

  • 1 2-pocket folder for homework
  • 1 package of loose leaf notebook paper
  • In a pencil bag (that fits into a binder)
    • 1 package of #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
    • 1 package of pencil-top erasers
  • In a pencil box:
  • 1 pack crayons OR colored pencils – 24 count
  • 2 packages of #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)
  • 1 set of earbuds

 

Turn into teachers (please do not label):

  • 2 Packages of College Ruled Notebook Paper – 100 sheets
  • 1 Pack of Colored Pencils
  • 2 – 4 Color Packages of 3” x 3” Sticky Notes
  • 1 Small Package of Mini Hot Glue Sticks
  • 1 Small Box of zip lock plastic vaggies (any size)

 

Student Supplies

  • 1 Package of College Ruled Notebook Paper – 100 sheets
  • 12 Pencils
  • 4 Blue or Black Pens
  • 2 Highlighters
  • 4 Jumbo Fabric Book Covers
  • 1 – 2” 3 Ring Binder (math)
  • 1 – Pencil Pouch for Math Binder
  • 1 – Plastic Pocket Folder with holes for Math Binder--no prongs needed
  • 3 – Pocket Folders with prongs (1 for each core class)
  • 5 Single Subject Spiral Notebooks with at least 100 pages (2 for math and science, 1 for social studies)
  • 1 Multi-Subject Spiral Notebook (with 200+ pages)
  • Calculator: Texas Instruments TI 30X IIS  (math and science)

 

8th Grade
