Reading:

The district’s reading performance level, based upon students currently achieving at the advanced or accelerated level, and measured by the OAA and OGT, will increase to 56.1% for the 2012-2013 test administration. Students with disabilities (SWD) will close the achievement gap to 23.1% advanced or accelerated for the 2012-2013 test administration. Performance measure will be adjusted each year through the review of the decision framework.

Mathematics:

The district’s math performance level, based upon students currently achieving at the advanced or accelerated level, and measured by the OAA and OGT, will increase to 59.9% for the 2012-2013 test administration. Students with disabilities (SWD) will close the achievement gap to 22.3% advanced or accelerated for the 2012-2013 test administration. Performance measure will be adjusted each year through the review of the decision framework.

Graduation Rate:

The district’s graduation rate for the class of 2012 will increase to 96% and to 100% for the class of 2013 and beyond.

8th Grade Homework Rewards

            The following 8th graders were recently recognized for doing all their homework and turning it in on time during the 3rd nine week grading period.  Those students were Audrey Lightle, Cassady Dyke, Rowan Grisez, Josie Miller, Jessica Fulwider, and Kayla LeMaster. They were rewarded with a candy bar and a homework pass.

            Also recognized were these students who have turned in all their homework on time during 2 of the 3 nine weeks this school year.  Those students included Taylor Bates, Kyler Beckley, Cheyenne Lake, Hadley LeVan, Kirstin Troyer, Colby Watson, Lindsay Alspaugh, Karen Alspaugh, and Jared Anderson.  They earned a pizza party and a homework pass.

            Finally there were students who have turned in all their homework by the due date for the entire school year thus far. They earned a $15 gift card.  These students were Dany Bailey, Austin Deere, Jessica Flack, Ty Hutchins, Trevor Instine, Tabby Miles, Lexi Moore, Ali Mrockowski, Kaitlyn Pence, Krystal Pettit, Sydney Propst, Leaira Smith, Kiki Zizzo and Maddy Collier.

            Congratulations to all these young adults on being responsible students.

Revised Contingency Plan for Calamity Days

Regional History Day Competition

Triad students competed in the Regional History Day Competition at Piqua Middle School Saturday March 8, 2014. At the awards ceremony, six Triad students advanced to the Ohio History Day Competition which will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014 at The Ohio State University. These students created museum exhibits focused around the National History Day theme, “Rights and Responsibilities in History”.
