150th anniversary of the Lincoln Funeral Train on April 29th, 2015 in Champaign County.

The Champaign County Ministerial Association is going to have a memorial service to honor President Lincoln during the 150th anniversary of the Lincoln Funeral Train on April 29th, 2015 in Champaign County.
Traveling from Columbus towards Piqua, Bradford, Greenville, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Springfield, Illinois; the funeral train made four stops in Champaign County.  All because of the topography west of Columbus

The Champaign County Bicentennial Committee, with the help of many donors, installed four markers; one each at Woodstock, Cable, Urbana, and St. Paris.
There will be a brief memorial dedication at Woodstock at 4 pm, Cable at 5 pm, Urbana at 6 pm, and St. Paris at 7 pm at each marker site except at St. Paris.  The St. Paris location will be at 135 West Main St., at the Municipal Building. The exact locations for the other three are available at the www.OhioHistoryConnection.org and the chamber website at www.ChampaignOhio.com.  There are alternate nearby sites available in case of bad weather.
Nationally known author, Scott Trostel, who wrote the books The Lincoln Funeral Train and The Lincoln Inaugural Train, visitors will be available to buy autographed books.
At these ceremonies will include local veterans and local residents of all ages.
