Triad Local Schools will:

Equip students with the skills and strategies to achieve their potential
Reading:
The district’s reading performance level, based upon students
currently achieving at the advanced or accelerated level, and measured
by the OAA and OGT, will increase to 56.1% for the 2012-2013 test
administration. Students with disabilities (SWD) will close the
achievement gap to 23.1% advanced or accelerated for the 2012-2013 test
administration. Performance measure will be adjusted each year through
the review of the decision framework.
Mathematics:
The district’s math performance level, based upon students currently
achieving at the advanced or accelerated level, and measured by the OAA
and OGT, will increase to 59.9% for the 2012-2013 test administration.
Students with disabilities (SWD) will close the achievement gap to 22.3%
advanced or accelerated for the 2012-2013 test administration.
Performance measure will be adjusted each year through the review of the
decision framework.
Graduation Rate:
The district’s graduation rate for the class of 2012 will increase to
96% and to 100% for the class of 2013 and beyond.

As part of the 8th grade homework reward program, several 8th graders earned incentives for doing all their homework and turning it in on time the 2nd 9 weeks of this school year. Ali Dixon, Caleigh Watson, Kayleigh Rice, Delaney Reinhardt, Sandra Alspaugh, Brook Detrick and Dustin Bruce all were rewarded with giant candy bars and a homework pass for doing all their homework the 2nd nine weeks. The following students did all their homework and turned it in on time the entire school year and earned a pizza party. Those students were Hannah Alvoid, Carly Brennan, Audrey Combs, Levi Combs, Kenton Eggleston, Abby Ehrenborg, Christopher Hinkle, Alandria Ketchell, Macy Linscott, Maddy McCreary, Megan Miller, Danielle Mullins, Hannah Overfield, Kylee Overfield, Peyton Rogan, Jennifer Sizemore, Garrett Smith, Paxton Smith, Haley Stepek, Noah Unger, and Jessie Woodard. Congratulations to all these students who have made a commitment to their school work.
